JetBlue to Add 30 New Flights This Summer

JetBlue is ramping service back up with 30 new domestic flight routes to markets where leisure travel is showing signs of strength.
Between July and October, the carrier said it plans to operate more than half of its typical capacity this summer “to better match demand trends.”
Some of the new flights include premium-service Mint flights, between Newark, New Jersey and Los Angeles and San Francisco, featuring lie-flat seats, free entertainment, special meals and pre-takeoff cocktails.
JetBlue is also restoring nine routes that were temporarily suspended during the height of the pandemic as well as service to several popular summer destinations such as Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, Massachusetts; Providence, Rhode Island; and the Puerto Rican cities of Aguadilla and Ponce.
Here’s a breakdown of the new and resumed flights:
Beginning July 23
New Mint Service between Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), up to three-times daily; and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) up to two-times daily.
New Service between Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Charleston International Airport (CHS) once daily; and Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) once daily.
New Service between New York John F. Kennedy international Airport (JFK) and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) up to two-times daily; and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) up to two-times daily.
Beginning Aug. 6
New Service between Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Austin–Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) up to two-times daily; San Diego International Airport (SAN) up to one-time daily; Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS) up to two-times daily; Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) up to two-times daily; and Sarasota–Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) up to one-time daily.
New Service between New York John F. Kennedy international Airport (JFK) and Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) up to two-times daily.
New Service between New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and Fort Myers Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) up to one-time daily; and Tampa International Airport (TPA) up to two-times daily.
New Service between Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Orlando International Airport (MCO) up to two-times daily; Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) up to two-times daily; Fort Myers Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) up to one-time daily; San Juan Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) up to one-time daily; and Tampa International Airport (TPA) up to one-time daily.
Beginning Oct. 1
New Service between New York John F. Kennedy international Airport (JFK) and Thomas Cyril E. King Airport (STT) up to two-times daily.
New Service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) up to one-time daily; Portland International Airport (PDX) up to two-times weekly; and Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA) up to three-times weekly.
New Service between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) up to one-time daily.
New Service between Fort Myers Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) up to one-time daily; and Providence T. F. Green International Airport (PVD) up to one-time daily.
New Service between Tampa International Airport (TPA) and Providence T. F. Green International Airport (PVD) up to one-time daily; and Washington National Airport (DCA) up to one-time daily.
New Service between Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) up to one-time daily; and Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) up to one-time daily.
