In anticipation of the steady return to travel, G Adventures on Wednesday announced that it is launching a new series of small group tours designed to provide additional reassurance to guests while helping them maintain social distancing.

The tours will travel under G Adventurs’ Travel with Confidence initiative that includes enhanced hygiene and sanitization measures that will be implemented across all of its tours. G Adventures partnered with the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) to create the new set of health and safety guidelines for its adventure itineraries, including protocols for safely operating trekking, biking, and rafting tours, as well as other activities.

G Adventures’ new tours, which it is calling its Travel with Confidence Plus Collection, features travel options catering to those wanting additional safeguards in place. These itineraries will comprise a series of small group tours with an average of 8-10 guests, private transportation with assigned seating, and options for private room accommodations and more personal space within shared facilities like bathrooms.

The collection features active, classic and marine style tours, with itineraries in Northern Spain, Costa Rica, Thailand, and Iceland. The Travel with Confidence Plus Collection is available to book now, with departures scheduled between Oct. 2, 2020 through Dec. 31, 2021.

“We absolutely understand different people are going to have different comfort levels, and it’s our job to make sure we cater to all our travelers with trips that meet them where they’re at so we can get all our travelers out exploring the world again,” said Bruce Poon Tip, Founder of G Adventures.

“By its very nature small group travel allows for more freedom and space, and our incredible team of CEOs around the world are dedicated to keeping our travelers safe and well. Their role is going to be more important than ever, and we hope this new collection enables us to change even more lives through travel, and that we re-emerge from this pause as more considerate travelers.”

G Adventures has also implemented a Book with Confidence policy enabling travelers booking tours departing before Dec. 31, 2020 to cancel and rebook up to 14 days prior to departure. Those with trips departing between Jan. 1, 2021 and June 30, 2021 can cancel and rebook up to 30 days prior to departure.
