Delta Flight 1086 Skids Off Runway at La Guardia

Delta Air Lines flight 1086 from Atlanta to New York crashed upon landing this morning at around 11:10 a.m. at La Guardia airport. The aircraft skidded off the runway as it attempted to land, according to eyewitnesses. None of the 125 passengers and five crew members onboard were injured, according to authorities. The FAA has instituted a ground stop at the airport following the incident until 12:45 p.m.
