You’ll soon be able to get your fix of Yellowstone and The Office at 30,000 feet.
Last month, JetBlue announced a new exclusive deal with NBCUniversal that will bring Peacock, NBC’s streaming service, free to JetBlue passengers via seatback screens and mobile devices starting this spring.
The deal will give JetBlue passengers access to Peacock’s complete offerings, including original series, live sports, movies, news, and some classic NBC shows, inflight. It will also allow TrueBlue loyalty program members, JetBlue’s frequent flyer program, to earn points for subscribing to Peacock. They will also be gifted a one-year Peacock Premium subscription.
“We’re excited to partner with Peacock, another fun, witty brand born in NYC to help raise the bar on what inflight entertainment can look like and bring in new ways of delighting our customers in the air and on the ground,” said Jayne O’Brien, head of marketing and loyalty, JetBlue.
“JetBlue has a long history of providing industry-leading inflight entertainment and connectivity, and our partnership with Peacock will seamlessly integrate into our TrueBlue program giving customers access to content throughout their travel journey and beyond.”
The move comes just as JetBlue launches the overhaul of its TrueBlue loyalty program. The carrier is calling the changes, which can be seen here, a move toward a “new TrueBlue.”
