Universal Orlando Shares Details about Ministry of Magic at Epic Universe

A third installment of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is coming to Universal Orlando Resort when Epic Universe opens in 2025.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic is one of five worlds comprising Epic Universe, Universal Orlando’s highly-anticipated new theme park. It also adds to the resort’s two existing Harry Potter areas: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley.

This themed land is a scaled-to-life recreation of wizarding Paris from the Fantastic Beasts movies and the British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter films. The park’s Métro-Floo attraction will be the bridge to bring guests between 1920s Paris and 1990s London.

After crossing from the quaint Parisian village to magical London, guests will be taken on the park’s one fully immersive ride, Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, which the team at Universal is calling “the most ambitious, groundbreaking ride Universal has ever created.” It will send guests on a thrilling journey with beloved film characters dodging mystical creatures to capture Umbridge.

Then there’s a lively show to sit back and enjoy. Universal’s first full-scale, live theater performance based on the magical films, Le Cirque Arcanus, features aerialists, puppetry, and high-quality special effects.

While walking around the park, guests will encounter characters – residents, officials, and students of these towns. They’ll also be able to purchase interactive wands that they can use to cast spells at different stations throughout.

Themed food and beverage spots include Café L’Air De La Sirène, Le Gobelet Noir, Bar Moonshine, and Bièraubeurre Cart, where guests can fill up on the famous Butterbeer. There are also souvenir shops, such as Les Galeries Mirifiques and Tour En Floo, as well as a sweet shop, K. Rammelle.

With this reveal, Universal Orlando has now announced details of all five of Epic Universe’s worlds: Dark Universe, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Celestial Park.
