AccorHotels Integrates Loyalty Programs

Two years after acquiring Fairmont, Raffles, and Swissotel, AccorHotels will consolidate the brands’ three loyalty programs with its own, called Le Club.

Earlier this month, members of Fairmont President’s Club, Swissotel Circle, and Raffles Ambassador Programs were automatically added to the French company’s flagship loyalty program with no big changes for how members earn status, points, or perks. Fairmont’s e-certificates and Swissôtel’s Advantage Awards, along with other benefits, will be credited to the new Le Club accounts and can be used as usual until their expiration dates.

After being added, their current status will continue to be based on their activity in 2017. For legacy members of the other loyalty programs, however, their membership will be effective July 2 through Dec. 21, 2019.

Le Club’s estimated 45 million members also benefit from the integration. They will be able to earn and redeem points from and at any of the properties under the luxury brands flag. AccorHotels’ loyalty program boasts a portfolio of over 3,500 properties worldwide.

Le Club consists of four-tiers: Classic; Silver, from 10 nights or 2,000 points; Gold, 30 nights or 7,000 status points; and Platinum, from 60 nights or 14,000 status points. Rewards can be redeemed for Dream Stays premium packages reserved exclusively for Le Club AccorHotels members, special experiences, or free stays at one of its hotels or luxury private homes.

AccorHotels bought parent company FRHI Hotels & Resorts in July of 2016 for in a $2.7 billion deal. Since then, it has operated its existing loyalty programs separately.
