Stan Brown of Omega Dies
Stan Brown, the vice president of business development at Omega World Travel, died on June 24. He was 71. Brown had been with Omega since 2002 and was a member of the company’s executive team. Starting in 1964 with Eastern Airlines, his career in the travel industry lasted more than 50 years. He started his own aviation consulting company, The Brown Group, before joining Omega in 2002. With Omega, he led marketing efforts and worked closely with all of the company’s vendors.
In a statement, Gloria Bohan, president, CEO and owner of Omega World Travel said, “He loved Omega. And we loved him. He inspired us. He made us laugh. He challenged us to do our best — because we knew he always did his best. He had a kind nature and generous spirit that touched us all.”
