WorldHotels, a collection of independent hotels and resorts around the world that is part of BWH Hotels, has expanded in Europe including a first location in Greece and two new properties in the Netherlands.
“This year we have seen tremendous growth in our European portfolio, bringing incredible new offerings to travelers visiting Europe this summer,” said Ron Pohl, president of WorldHotels. “We are excited to introduce our guests to a greater breadth of authentic, unique experiences while providing the highest levels of service and amenities.”
The hospitality group’s first Greek property is Makedonia Palace, a WorldHotels Luxury property in Thessaloniki. Dating back to 1972 but recently renovated, the property is located along the Thessaloniki seafront and boasts the largest traditional hammam (Turkish bath) in Greece, an outdoor swimming pool, and more.
Other new European additions to the WorldHotels portfolio are:
Sofraga Palacaio, Avila Spain (WorldHotels Crafted): This boutique 4-star hotel has 27 guest rooms and suites, each of which offers views of the 16th century Palacio and surrounding area. It’s located just over 300 feet from Avila City Hall and the nearby points of interest.
b’mine Dusseldorf, Dusseldorf, Germany (WorldHotels Crafted): This 202-room hotel is located in the Flingern district of Dusseldorf and features three rooftop terraces, as well as a Roof Restaurant Bar and Lounge. The most unique aspect of the hotel is the CarLoft concept, which allows visitors to take their car with them to the terrace in front of their room.
