Philadelphia fans are known to be passionate.
So much so, that city police previously applied motor gear oil to light poles to prevent people from climbing up top, in an attempt to keep damage caused by Eagles fans after their playoff win to a minimum.
And crowds on Sunday night following a historic win against the Patriots in the Super Bowl lived up to their reputation.
One by one fans scaled the awning of the Ritz Carlton hotel on South Broad street, jumping off the top into the crowds below. After more than a dozen people stood on top of the structure, it collapsed to the ground.
