Hilton’s Tapestry Collection Adds First Property
by Jessica MontevagoHilton’s new soft brand, Tapestry Collection, added its first hotel with the Hotel Skyler Syracuse.
Located in the city’s University Hill district, the 58-room hotel is housed in a former temple, built in 1922. It’s also one of five hotels in the United States to receive Platinum-level certification under Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards.
Hilton announced the launch of Tapestry Collection in January as “original upscale hotels that cater to guests seeking reliability and value in their independent hotel choices.” There are plans for two dozen hotels to join the brand.
