Sabre Security Breach Expands To Kimpton And Club Quarters
by Richard D'AmbrosioTwo more hotel brands informed the public that bookings for their properties were subject to a hacking incident with Sabre Corporation’s SynXis reservations system.
San Francisco-based Kimpton Hotels and Stamford, CT-based Club Quarters Hotels recently said reservations made through the SynXis system were subject to the hacking, which occurred between August 10, 2016, and March 9, 2017.
Kimpton operates 60 hotels. Club Quarters has full-service hotels in Boston, Chicago, Houston, London, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington. Club Quarters also manages The Jewel Hotel, Central Loop Hotel, The River Hotel, Hotel Boutique, World Center Hotel, and The Grand at Trafalgar Square.
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Trump Hotels also announced that guest data at their hotels was hacked, and Google alerted its employees as well.
