Air France To Resume Service To Iran

Air France will resume service between Paris and Tehran on April 17 with three weekly flights on A330 and A340 aircraft. The service has been suspended since 2008 as part of international sanctions against Iran.
The carrier met with its unions regarding the Iranian law that requires all women to wear a headscarf in public places in the country, though they are not required to wear them during the flight. Some flight attendants and pilots have balked at the requirement.
Air France said that if a crew member does not wish to abide by the law, she should inform the carrier, and will be assigned to a different flight.
