Silver Muse To Sail Out Of Port Everglades
by Daniel McCarthySilversea Cruises’ newest ship, Silver Muse, will sail out of Fort Lauderdale’s Port Everglades starting in October 2017.
Silversea announced this week that it has signed an agreement with the Broward County Commission to install Silver Muse, which is set to debut in April, in winters at Port Everglades for two years. The agreement includes an option to renew for an additional three years with a minimum of 12 annual sailings.
During its time homeporting in Port Everglades, Silver Muse will sail itineraries including a 16-night roudtrip through the Caribbean in December 2017, a 10-night cruise to San Juan in winter 2018 and a transatlantic crossing to end the season.
Silver Muse will debut as Silversea’s flagship vessel. It will sail 596-passengers in all-suite accommodations, with more dining options than any other ultra-luxury cruise ship.
