Universal Studios Hollywood Spikes Prices Ahead Of Harry Potter Attraction Opening
by Anna GleksmanUniversal Studios has hiked prices for a single-day ticket by 20% as it prepares to open the West Coast’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter on April 7, 2016.
On peak-demand days (Spring Break season and attraction grand-opening dates), a daily ticket will cost $115, up from $95. All tickets purchased at the gate, no matter which day, will run $115; tickets purchased in advance will cost $95-$105.
The price increase brings Universal’s prices close to those of Disneyland and Universal Studios, which also recently raised their prices to $105 for a day pass at Disneyland in Orlando.
