Viking Cruises will allow all guests who made a reservation prior to March 2 and all guests who make a new reservation through April 30 to change their cruise date or cancel their reservation at any time until 24-hours prior to departure, without a cancellation fee.
“We will continue to update our guests and travel agent partners on any changes in itineraries or circumstance that may be relevant. In the meantime, we hope that a temporary exception to our policy will help put your mind to ease,” Viking said in its update.
Anyone using the policy will receive a 100% future cruise voucher for any future river, ocean, or expedition cruise 24 months from issuance.
According to Viking, all sailings are still currently on schedule despite the growing concerns over coronavirus.
“We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely including the travel advisories issued by the U.S. State Department and information updates issued by the Centers for Disease Control in the U.S. and the World Health Organization in Switzerland,” Viking said.
