Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection announced today that it will add four new ships to its fleet over the next three years, with one heading to the Nile in 2019, one to the Douro in 2019, one to the Mekong in 2020, and one to the Volga in 2021.
The ships are expected to replace current Uniworld vessels.
“We strive to provide our discerning guests with an unforgettable river cruise experience both on and off shore, therefore we have plans to offer our one-of-a-kind ships on our popular itineraries along the Nile, Douro, Mekong and the Volga,” Uniworld president and CEO Ellen Bettridge said.
Uniworld already has the debut of S.S. Bon Voyage set for spring 2019 along with the debut of River Countess planned for 2020. It is also just a year off of launching the S.S. Joie de Vivre.
The new ships are expected to follow that super ship model, with more suites and more dining venues.
