Hilton has appointed Feisal Jaffer as global head, LXR Hotels & Resorts, the company’s newest luxury collection brand.
Jaffer joins Hilton from Capella Hotel Group, a hospitality management services firm, where he most recently served as senior vice president of business development and senior vice president of acquisitions and development. Jaffer previously held investment and business development roles with Host Hotels and Fairmont-Raffles Hotels International, respectively.
“In our search for a new leader for LXR, we knew we would need someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who relishes in creating bespoke guest experiences. With nearly 20 years of global experience growing businesses and brands across the hotel, real estate and technology sectors in the Asia-Pacific, the U.K. and the U.S., we knew Feisal would be the perfect fit,” said Martin Rinck, Hilton’s executive vice president and global head, Luxury & Lifestyle Group.
Jaffer will be based in Hilton’s global headquarters in McLean, Virginia, and report directly to Rinck.
LXR Hotels & Resorts launched in December 2018 and is comprised of independent luxury properties. Hilton rebranded three properties in Dubai to kickstart its portfolio; and this year, will add The Biltmore, Mayfair in London, and Zemi Beach House Resort & Spa in Anguilla.
