After a successful debut in 2017, Carnival Cruise Line’s traveling road show, Agentpalooza, is returning for its second year.
The tour, hosted by Senior Vice President of Sales and Trade Marketing Adolfo Perez, will stop in four California cities in June—Pasadena at Rose Bowl Stadium on June 11, Orange County at Mile Square Park on June 12, San Diego at Chula Vista Bayside Park on June 13, and Long Beach at Carnival’s Long Beach Cruise Terminal on June 14.
“Last year’s event was such a great success thanks to the support, active participation and enthusiasm of the thousands of travel agent partners who showed us exactly why we call them rock stars,” said Perez. “We’re excited to take the bus tour to Southern California and visit with agents as we build excitement for the arrival of our newest ship, Carnival Panorama, which arrives in Long Beach at the end of 2019.”
Tour stops include the opportunity for agents to talk with Carnival sales staff and celebrate their role in the cruise line’s success.
Carnival has added new elements this year.
One is a t-shirt design contest that is open to agents who want to submit rock and roll inspired designs for t-shirts. The winner will be chosen by a panel that includes Perez, President Christine Duffy, and Vice President of Sales Mike Julius. Aside from having their shirts sold at each tour stop, with all proceeds going to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, winners will also get a seven-day Caribbean cruise. Five runner ups will receive $100 gift cards.
Also new this year, Carnival is bringing a cruise director along for trivia games, bingo, and dancing. Carnival is also setting up a merchandise tent at each tour stop, with those profits also going to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Registration is limited and now open at GoCCL.com.
