Virtuoso announced today the appointment of Úna O’Leary as vice president, global partnerships.

In the role, the Toronto-based exec will oversee the expansion of Virtuoso’s preferred partner portfolio worldwide. She reports to Cory Hagopian, Virtuoso’s new senior vice president, global partnerships.

Toronto-based O’Leary previously served as Virtuoso’s first-ever general manager, Canada. She joined the luxury travel network in 2021, after serving in senior leadership roles at companies like WNS and Ensemble Travel Group.

According to Virtuoso, its Canada market has seen “notable growth in member engagement, partner relationships and overall performance,” under O’Leary’s guidance.

“Úna has led Virtuoso’s efforts to identify Canada as a distinct market and one of our established regions,” said Michael Londregan, Virtuoso’s senior vice president, global operations. “Her ability to design a strategy and align our team to execute our plans through collaboration with members and partners makes her ideally suited to this new role.”

O’Leary appeared at last year’s sold-out Travel Market Place Toronto, where she spoke about the state of the industry in Canada, noting, “People are taking more time to travel but they’re also looking for things that are more immersive.”

Virtuoso has not named a new GM, Canada, and the search for a successor is underway. O’Leary will continue to support Canada in the interim, and will work with

The luxury travel network appears to be in a period of growth. Virtuoso announced two new senior vice presidents last week: In addition to naming Hagopian SVP of global partnerships, the luxury travel specialist also named Cheryl Cheney Bunker as SVP of global membership.

“This is a significant and exciting move for our global team,” said Hagopian. “Úna’s leadership in Canada has delivered measurable impact, and we’re thrilled to bring that expertise to a broader scope as we continue to grow and deepen our partnerships across the globe.”
