Carnival Unveils Pricing Structure for Fathom
Carnival’s social-impact travel brand, Fathom, has revealed the pricing structure for its Dominican Republic and Cuba cruises. Fathom will offer four stateroom categories—interior, ocean view, balcony, and suite—and also will streamline pricing for single, double, and triple occupancy.
For Fathom’s Dominican Republic cruises, which have sailing dates from May to Oct. next year, the prices range from $974 for an interior stateroom during the low season and $4,468 for a suite during peak season. According to the cruise line, estimated taxes, fees and port expenses are $200 extra. A $300 per-person deposit is also required for all stateroom categories and occupancy levels.
For the cruise line’s Cuba journeys, which have the same sailing season as the Dominican Republic cruises, prices range from $1,800 per person for interior staterooms during low season and $8,250 per person for suites during peak season. For Cuba, estimated taxes and fees are $500 extra with a $600 per-person deposit.
For both the Dominican Republic and Cuba, the cruise line is also offering Triple and Quad Pricing (50 percent discount off per-person double occupancy price) and Single Supplement (150 percent of per-traveler double occupancy price for interior, exterior ocean-view and balcony staterooms; 200 percent per traveler double occupancy price for suites).
