Just ahead of the busy summer travel season, American Airlines is expanding its premium offerings in the City of Brotherly Love.
On May 22, American will open two new lounges in the A-West Terminal of Philadelphia International Airport (PHL): a Flagship Lounge and an Admirals Club. Together, the lounges span 25,000 square feet.
The space is roughly split between the two lounges, which share a reception area featuring eGates that mark the entrance to each.
The Flagship Lounge will serve eligible travelers flying in Business on qualifying international, transcontinental, or select domestic flights. The Admirals Club will welcome members, certain credit card holders, premium cabin travelers on qualifying flights, Oneworld elite members, and active-duty U.S. military personnel.

Like American’s other signature lounges, both will offer complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, abundant power outlets, dining and cocktail options, and spaces to relax, including restrooms and spa-style showers.
The Flagship Lounge will feature dishes from Chef Randy Ricky, a James Beard Award semifinalist, along with local specialties available à la carte. The Admirals Club will offer Don Francisco coffee, a full bar, and a dedicated kids’ area.
