by Jessica Montevago  November 02, 2016

Drive a BMW or gaze at Times Square through floor-to-ceiling windows in new properties opening this week.

Located in downtown Miami, the 124-room luxury SLS Brickell offers dining options from two James Beard award-winning chefs, rooftop pool deck, fitness center and spa. Its concierge service provides guests with 24/7 access to dinner, golf and theater reservations, as well as access to a BMW-7 series house car available for transport within a three-mile radius.

The Hyatt Centric Times Square New York opened in the heart of Manhattan with 487 loft-like guest rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the city’s skyline. The lifestyle hotel collaborates with experiential brands such as on-demand vacation photography service Flytographer, and artisan restaurant-and-retail market TurnStyle. By the first quarter of 2017, the soon-to-be-announced food and beverage concept on the ground floor and design enhancements to the rooftop lounge, Bar 54, will be completed.

Westin Hotels & Resorts, a Marriott International brand, made its debut in Egypt’s capital. The 135-room Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa offers an outdoor heated pool and three dining options, including a pool bar, golf club bar and all-day Mediterranean restaurant. The property is home to a 27-hole championship golf course designed by world-renowned golfers Nick Faldo and Brian Curley, and a 10,000-square-foot spa with 10 therapy rooms and two couple suites as well as a high-tech steam room, rain shower and sauna.

The JW Marriott Hotel Chengdu in the capital of southwestern China’s Sichuan province is now welcoming guests. The luxury hotel’s design draws inspiration from traditional Chinese motifs and has a signature Cantonese restaurant serving authentic Cantonese cuisine with Sichuan flavors. The five-star property also has three additional dining options, as well as 345 rooms, an indoor heated swimming pool, fitness center and Grand Ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows that can host up to 800 people.

NH Hotel Group celebrated the debut of its upper-upscale brand NH Collection in Latin America with the NH Collection Mexico City Reforma. The refurbished and rebranded 306-room property now has a heated outdoor pool, a terrace, a full-service fitness center, and 10 meeting and event rooms. Dining options include the Obvio restaurant, which serves Mexican cuisine fused with international flavors, a breakfast buffet, and circular hotel bar, Bar 155.
