Business Travelers Get The Chance To Give Back At Marriott

by Jessica Montevago  April 29, 2016

Business travelers staying at a Marriott property in the Caribbean or Mexico can help a local charity through the company’s new “Carry-on Charity” program.

The program offers a credit to cover the cost of an additional checked bag so travelers can bring items to donate. Groups that bring five or more bags receive a framed award, as well as complimentary transportation to the charity.

Meeting planners can bring items on behalf of the group or travelers can pack the donations in their suitcases. Guests also have the option to hand-deliver the donations to the charity with which they are working.

Properties participating in the program include the Aruba Marriott Resort, Renaissance Aruba Resort, JW Marriott Los Cabos, CasaMagna Marriott Cancun Resort, JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa, Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort, Frenchman’s Reef Marriott Beach Resort, CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa, and St. Kitts Marriott Resort.
