National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions Adds Indonesia Charters

National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions is now offering two chartered sailings to Indonesia for 2026.

The company will sail the itineraries aboard Aqua Blu, a 28-guest Aqua Expeditions-owned vessel that features just 13 cabins and is the first long-range ocean explorer yacht based in East Indonesia. The ship, with five decks, features both indoor and outdoor al fresco dining areas, an outdoor wellness area and hot tub, and snorkeling and kayak gear available for guests.

Aqua Blu will sail two different 15-day itineraries in Indonesia.

The first is the Coral Gardens and Komodo Dragons sailing, which will kick off in October 2026. This itinerary takes guests through the area’s Coral Triangle, into Komodo National Park, and then to Taka Bonerate National Park. Along the way, guests will have the chance to kayak through mangrove forests, interact with locals, and learn about conservation efforts through onboard lectures.

The second is the Spice Islands and Raja Ampat sailing, another 15-day itinerary, which will debut in November 2026. This sailing includes snorkeling and diving in Raja Ampat, a visit to Misool’s lagoons, and more. National Geographic-Lindblad says this itinerary blends a look at the area’s “rich traditions and diverse landscapes.”

The Indonesia charters join another set of charters that the company revealed late last year in India. Those sailings will kick off in March 2026 and include an 11-day Best of India itinerary and an 18-day India by Land and River itinerary. National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions will operate those sailings aboard the 17-cabin Charaidew II.
