Transat has added a group option to Tripbook, making self-service bookings easier as travel advisors can now select seats for all occupants in the same room, add luggage, generate electronic documents, and make payments for their group bookings.
The addition is after a thorough design and development process in exclusive collaboration with Softvoyage.
“By being the first to adopt this technology, Transat is making it easier for travel agencies to book groups by giving them greater autonomy, which translates into efficiencies throughout the process,” explains Julie Sareault, Transat’s commercial director.
“Integrating groups into Tripbook was a long-standing request, and we have listened. This is an important step forward for us.”
A second phase of development is planned to add even more self-service features to Tripbook and will be presented in the coming months.
