Wayfinder Waikiki Names New Director of Sales and Marketing
Grand Palladium Bávaro Suites & Spa, a 5-star resort in the Dominican Republic, is undergoing a complete transformation as it incorporates new premium concepts. When the resort reopens on Dec. 15, 2025, it will offer Grand Palladium Select Bávaro and Family Selection at Grand Palladium Select Bávaro, which gives guests exclusive access to new private facilities, butler service, welcome gifts, and more. The resort is also getting upgrades to its lobby, villas, rooms, restaurants, and pools.

Grand Hyatt DFW Airport, located inside Terminal D at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) will begin renovations in July 2025, when the hotel also celebrates its 20th anniversary. The updates will include refurbished guestrooms and suites, improvements to dining and event spaces, and a reimagined lobby, guest lounges, and corridors. Renovations are expected to be complete by the end of the year.
Also in July, Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina will debut an exclusive club lounge experience. The new Club Lounge will be nestled on the fourth floor and offer panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and Oahu’s western coastline. Guests staying in the Club room and suite categories will have access to the lounge from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and get personalized service, curated culinary offerings, and other amenities, including dedicated Club Concierge, a private bar, daily breakfast, grab-and-go snacks, all-day refreshments, light afternoon hors d’oeuvres, and premium evening cocktail service. The official opening date is July 4.
Hotel Heron, a 134-room boutique hotel, has appointed Matt Karow as its new general manager. Karow will lead operations at the Virginia hotel, located just outside of Washington, D.C. He previously held general manager positions at The Daytona Hotel, Autograph Collection and the Art Ovation Hotel, Autograph Collection in Sarasota.

LXR Hotels & Resorts has launched its Pursuit of Adventure program, which will offer guests immersive on-property experiences as well as off-site excursions. This signature program from the Hilton hotel brand will notably feature exclusive destination tours at hotels such as Beach Village at The Del and Shore House at The Del, Ka La’i Waikiki Beach, ROKU KYOTO, and more.
Following major property renovations, Mar Hall Golf & Spa Resort in Scotland has officially opened. The hotel is located just 10 minutes from Glasgow’s international airport. It features 74 luxurious guest rooms and suites, two restaurants and bars, a 22-person private cinema, and gaming rooms.
The Luxury Group by Marriott International has brought back its Luxury Dining Series for 2025. From July to September, renowned chefs and mixologists will visit different hotels for specified dates to showcase their cuisine and cocktails. Participating properties include The St. Regis Osaka, JW Marriott Jeju Resort & Spa, JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa, The St. Regis Singapore, The St. Regis Jakarta, and the newly opened The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok.

Pan Pacific London, a 5-star hotel that blends British sophistication with the warmth of Singapore, has fully renovated its 42 luxury suites. There is now a unique blend of plants, textiles, and artwork inspired by Singapore’s Botanical Gardens, designed by Singapore-based FDAT. Suites also feature bespoke, custom-made furniture, marble bathrooms, large wardrobes and desks, and ample storage space.
The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort‘s new Bora Bora Bliss Getaway adds a curated spa regimen for travelers who seek a planned-out vacation of pure relaxation. The package includes five nights in an overwater villa, breakfast daily, and a five-day curated spa program. The launch of this offering is in celebration of the spa’s new Ayurvedic Abyanga Massage treatment.
Scott Kawasaki has been named the new director of sales and marketing at Wayfinder Waikiki, a resort in the heart of Honolulu’ Waikiki neighborhood. Kawasaki has more than 30 years of industry experience and local expertise as a native Hawaiian and University of Hawaii graduate.
