Celebrity Cruises is making its Solstice-class ships new again. The line is investing more than $250 million in a class-wide refurbishment that will bring eight new experiences, including four new-to-sea spaces, to all five ships in the class. Bow-to-stern innovations will also include reinvented outdoor spaces, new restaurants, and all new stateroom categories and ship-wide stateroom upgrades.

Celebrity Solstice will be the first ship to go into drydock, re-emerging in March 2026.

“Our Solstice Series ships represent the best of classic cruising, and now we’re elevating this vacation experience even further by adding brand new experiences and enhancements at every turn,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises. “Guests will enjoy more ways to explore and restore, all while staying true to what made our guests fall in love with these ships in the first place.”

Fine Cut Steakhouse: Straight from the decks of Celebrity’s Edge-class ships, this fine dining venue offers steakhouse staples, as well as 30-day dry-aged steaks and fresh seafood.

Sunset Park: The transformed top deck of Celebrity Solstice will feature this half-acre of outdoor space with elevated cuisine, cocktails, lawn games, open-air concerts, and more.

The Retreat Sundeck: The Retreat onboard Celebrity Solstice will receive an all-new Retreat Sundeck, with ample outdoor seating and shade, along with an oversized hot tub.

Upgraded and Expanded Solstice-Class Spaces

Sunset Bar: The ship’s popular Sunset Bar will be expanded.

AquaClass Staterooms: Every AquaClass stateroom will be upgraded with new spa-inspired elements including massaging shower heads, aroma therapy diffusers, and more. AquaClass guests will also enjoy complimentary access to the all-new Relaxation Lounge at the spa.

Other spaces that will be refreshed include: Café Al Bacio, Cellar Masters, World Class Bar, Martini Bar, Pool Bar, Passport Bar, Blu (exclusive to AquaClass guests), Luminae (exclusive to The Retreat guests), the Fitness Center, and Camp at Sea.
