SAVE THE DATE: 1st-Annual Canadian Travel Awards to Celebrate the Industry’s Best

The inaugural Canadian Travel Awards are set for November 13 at Toronto’s Hotel X.

Canadian travel industry members love a good party, and that’s exactly what they’ll get at the 1st-Annual Canadian Travel Awards presented by Travel Market Report Canada.

Thursday, November 13 is the date of the inaugural 2025 event at Hotel X Toronto, one of the city’s hottest venues.

“This is an industry that celebrates like no other, and this is an industry worth celebrating,” says Travel Market Report Canada Executive Director and Editor-in-Chief John Kirk.

“The Canadian Travel Awards will be chosen by thousands of travel advisors across the country, casting their votes for Canada’s most engaged and supportive travel suppliers, including airlines, tourist boards, travel insurance companies, hotel chains, tour operators and more,” Kirk added.

“We’ll add to the excitement with great food and drink, fun activities and some iconic Canadian entertainment that will be announced in the weeks to come. The industry knows the Canadian Travel Market Report team well – Marsha, Catherine, Bruce and myself — and they know we can throw a party like no other in the business. This will be a night not to be missed, at one of Toronto’s most elegant venues.”

The TMR Canada team: John Kirk, Marsha Mowers, Catherine Maissonneuve and Bruce Parkinson.

The Canadian Travel Awards are brought to you by the familiar folks behind Travel Market Place, Canada’s premier travel industry education and networking event, held annually in Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto. Attendees are among the most engaged and successful advisors in the nation, which will make the awards they bestow highly coveted by industry suppliers.

Located at the Canadian National Exhibition grounds on the Lake Ontario waterfront, Hotel X offers a variety of eclectic and extraordinary event spaces including a scenic rooftop patio and terrace, two stunning grand ballrooms, and impeccably groomed gardens.

Several sponsorship opportunities have already been reserved, so make sure your brand is visible at this high-profile industry event by getting in touch today. If you’re interested in purchasing a table and/or a sponsorship, please reach out to John Kirk at jkirk@travelmarketreport.ca  as soon as possible.

“For one night, grey November is going to light up as the Canadian Travel industry is honoured by Travel Market Report – Voice of the Travel Advisor,” said Kirk. “What a great way to kick off the holiday season with the first of what is sure to become an annual highlight of the Canadian travel industry calendar.”
