The Travel Corporation (TTC) unveiled a new online portal for its guests, a one-stop shop that holds all the necessary information for their travel plans.
The platform, My Travel Portal (MTP), was designed to be a useful tool for both travel agents and their clients. It will provide travelers with one centralized location for all their travel documents via the e-document portal, preferences and itineraries. In turn, the information will be shared back with the travel agent, allowing them to provide a personalized, seamless experience.
MTP will also host guests’ emergency contact details in the event of unforeseen circumstances, giving TTC brands quick access to contact and account for each traveler in case of an emergency.
The portal will also act as a social hub; users can share vacation snaps on social media, take trip notes in their journal, and chat with their Travel Director and fellow travelers.
Travel agents can register their booked client within the Manage My Booking (MMB) portal – an agent portal found on each brand’s travel agent website. Any agent partner with a TTC brand booking departing from April 1, 2018 will receive an email with an attached list of clients requiring registration via MMB. Any new bookings departing from April 1, 2018 will be automatically prompted to complete the required registration.
TTC affirmed it will “not use that data to solicit clients to book directly with us; we never have and we never will. Details provided will only be used for travel service messaging,” according to a statement on its website.
For initial launch, Trafalgar, Contiki and CostSaver will go live. Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold are scheduled to debut by March, with U by Uniworld following shortly thereafter this year. Additional brands from the TTC portfolio will be added at a future date.
