Hilton Named Most Valuable Hotel Brand
by Jessica MontevagoHilton Worldwide was named the world’s most valuable hotel brand by brand valuation and strategy consultancy Brand Finance.
The Hilton brand is valued at $7.8 billion, up by about 33% from last year’s value of $5.8 billion. Six of Hilton Worldwide’s brands landed in the top 50, including Hampton Inn, DoubleTree, and Embassy Suites Hotels.
Marriott International came in second, with eight brands in the top 50. That’s likely to increase next year when the Marriott and Starwood merger is completed. Starwood had six brands on the list.
