Celebrity Cruises to Undergo $400 Million Fleetwide Renovation

Celebrity Cruises will spend $400 million dollars between 2019 and 2023 on a fleetwide renovation.
The plan, called Celebrity Revolution, will see all nine of Celebrity’s ships updated, with some getting the features from Celebrity’s newest ship, Celebrity Edge, which is set to enter service next year.
According to president and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, it is the largest investment Celebrity has ever made.
New cashmere-covered mattress and bed sets will be added to staterooms, which will all be reconfigured for better use of space.
Constellation, Infinity, Millennium and Summit will all get the Oceanview Café, a market café with menus based on the destination a ship is sailing to.
New Retreat Sundecks and Retreat Lounges, exclusive to Celebrity’s suite guests, will be added, giving suite guests spaces to unwind outside and enjoy food, drink, and live entertainment inside. The Retreats will first debut on Celebrity Edge next year.
